How to Stop Worrying
I am intrigued with a book that I have been reading about how to stop worrying. I picked it up at an old book warehouse in Rockport Texas. This hard cover book that I paid $1.00 for was written in 1944 by no other than the famous Dale Carnegie. Yes, the same Dale Carnegie that wrote, “ How to Win Friends and Influence People.” He included many heart felt stories in the pages of people of that day and their worries and he shared how he learned to stop worrying. As I read each persons story I began to realize that there is no reason for anyone to worry. The story tellers all concluded that the worrying caused much havoc in their lives until they learned not to. His recommendation is instead of worrying, do a good deed for another person everyday. When you are busy helping others you will not have time to worry about yourself and life will fall into place. Your worries will disappear.
Carnegie also writes about the adverse health issues that occur when we worry. He discusses the energy that goes out into the world when we worry and it affects on our body, mind and spirt. Let me ad that what ever energy we send out does come back to us. The universe is set up in such a way that the energy of every person is heard. Your thoughts, words and emotions vibrate at a certain frequency and they resonate out into the universe and are heard just as a radio wave sends out a signal. This is why it is so important to think happy, joyful thoughts so the same vibrations return to you.
