Your Words Have Energy Choose Them Wisely

It was a Sunday afternoon when I received a call from my mom. She usually checked in on the weekends to catch up. I miss those calls from my mother as she passed a few years back, but it’s the memories you hold onto. This is one memory I recall vividly.  I had been reading Louise Hay’s book; You Can Heal Your Life. The book is about the power of the spoken word and the ability to change our thoughts and our words to change our lives.

My mom was an avid gardener spending hours in her flower garden. She was very upset when she called that day, she shared with me that it had been raining everywhere but at her house. She said it rains in town and down the street but never at her house. After learning about the power of our words, I was shocked at what I was hearing her say. She was telling the universe to make sure it never rained at her home repeatedly and the universe was complying.

My mother was a very smart person who loved Jeperody, she was a wiz at answering the puzzles, but would she buy into the energetics and the realization of what she was manifesting?

I said mom, “You are telling the universe that it never rains at your house.” The universe is complying with your request. Your words and intentions have power, energetic power.  I suggested she say,” It rains at my house often to feed the plants” There was a slight pause in the conversation. She said, “Yes, I guess I could give it a try.”

A couple weeks passed and I phoned my mom to see what was new with her and my father. She said, “It has been raining at our house so often that the roof is leaking, and that we now have to replace the roof!”

I smiled, the magic had worked, and maybe it was time for a new roof, but the most amazing thing is that my that mom had learned how to manifest.

 I mentioned that the next time she put in her request out to the universe, to be specific. She was learning universal law and how the universe operates and how the energy flows. The universe only gives you what you request with your thoughts, words and emotions or something better. You are an energetic being sending out an energetic signal. After you make your request have faith that your request is on its way and let it go. We are creators that hold an energetic spark of light within our soul.

The energy of the spoken word and of our thoughts send out a unique energetic frequency. This energy is released with each thought, emotion and each spoken word. Many people have become aware of this manifestation process and have realized that they are the designers of their own lives. But on the other side of the spectrum there are many wonderful people who don’t have a clue how the energetics work.

If you are new to this concept, you can experiment easily with creating, visualizing and setting the intention to what you are looking to manifest with your words and your thoughts. Then sit back and watch the universe create it for you.

Being mindful of each word spoken is a practice that many people, including myself are working on.  My hope for humanity is that we will soften our words to be full of kindness, compassion and love.
